I hust started to watch Super Sonico. Looks pretty good so far but then again I am partial to Sonico's amazing body!
I watched the first episode. It's really good if you enjoy glimpses of Japanese life and the life of a model. I enjoyed watching, but the pace of the plot didn't pick up the way that I'm used to and so.... It wasn't my cup of tea, but the animation was great, the backgrounds were fairly detailed, and it avoided cartooney shenanigans. But, I've never seen the Sony song editing software or other things leading up to Sonico-san, so my muse isn't around.
One that I thought I would add is Zankyō no Terror
Aka "Terror in Rennaicance." This series follows two terrorists in Tokyo highschool. Despite my disagreement with the light-hearted look at terrorist attacks, This series is filled with political tangles much like a similar conspiracy drama, "Scryed." The animation is as nice as "Scryed" too. The viewer has to watch this series with a large dose of skepticism and objectivity and in that respect, is more like Katsuhiro Otomo's "Akima",--self-resolving with the aide of a higher authority. Unfortunately, there is a current lack of information beyond the first seven episodes.
So again, not my cup of tea, but a decent one others might look at.
