All of you know that this is safebooru, pretty much the only safe-for-work booru.

Lets get something straight here, if you find an picture that seems mature or inappropriate the worse thing you can do is comment on it, saying stupid things like.. "this aint safe at all!" Why you ask? because you will bump the picture and then EVERYBODY will see it on the comment page.

So please, we work our asses off trying to keep this place clean. If you happen to find an image that does not follow our policy then click on flag for delete link. This way the mods can easily delete the images.

A tip for something I've noticed:

If you find an image that is nsfw, check the tags to see if there is an artist name. If an artist has one nsfw image, chances are there many more buried deeply from the front page.

In addition users can help by scouting for dangerous tags such as cameltoe, nipples, swimsuit, nude, etc.

Our mod policy is simple, if it looks mature or sexual suggestive or its to nude, showing niples or cameltoe its not SFW.

Hmm that clarifies things more, I've been submitting "possibly nsfw" if I wasn't sure but some things I've passed over fit those criteria. I will remember for the future!

mound_of_venus is another tag that seems to only have images that violate the policy

First one is SFW since it contains full clothing and no nipples, 2th one is not duo to the naked bum.

What's the booru's position on violence?

For example clammbon (safebooru.org/index.php?p...;s=list&tags=clammbon ) has pretty messed up stuff.

umm i thought this site had only work-safe pictures. i've seen a couple questionable pics. how do i block them

@ crossovershipper: Go to "My Account", then "Options", then check "Safe Only Listing".
*If you see something listed as Safe but it's on the Questionable side, you can just click on the and edit the rating so that you won't see it again.
*Also, the majority of Questionable/Porn-but-listed-as-Safe-LAWL items come from Danbooru, Gelbooru, or Nekobooru bots.
*Hell, I've personally had to delete at least 500 NSFW images.
