This is just a quick thank you to the biggest uploader on safebooru. Yeah, the users, admins, and mods are cool and all, and they help make the site better, but the danbooru bot is the #1 uploader of pictures (almost 2 times gelbooru's posts! get rekt) . Without you, danbot, this site wouldn't be what it is today. Yeah, every now and then your judgement on what you consider safe is... less than great. And sometimes you upload pictures of hoshino fumina. But we forgive you for those small transgressions. You're still amazing and we all love you.

People may come and go, but as long as this site stays online and you keep uploading cute anime pictures, I think safebooru will be A-OK. THANK YOU DANBOT!!! <3

Funny you should bring this up at this particular time since the danbot has been offline for the past three days. Hopefully it won't take muck longer to fix. The last time was about two months. I've tried to contact them about it via the webmaster e-mail but so far no response. I'm not even sure if that's the correct way to handle this matter.

Addendum: The danbot does seem to be working for gelbooru.

It's annoying to deal with Danbot when it's down particularly because of how dependent our database is on it. I never really found a page on Danbooru discussing the implementation of Danbot on a booru site or even support for its services. Maybe I just suck at looking around on that site, I dunno.

Hopefully it'll be back up soon.

Apparently certain matters such as this can be handled via the forum on booru.org. However one must be registered and have that particular booru's pass word. Meaning that one must be associated as either an admin or mod which I am neither. Any who, this is what I have found out.

For the now I am bored with trying to milk our gallery any further and will be visiting one of the naughtier booru's.
