As a mod, I go through the new stuff and moderate it. In addition, I tag, sift through old stuff, pool, etc.. Often times, though, the rating is inaccurate. If I don't fix the rating, it still shows up in the 'rating:safe' search.

If you are already editing the thing to add tags, would you check the rating too?
This would be a great help to everyone and the actual number of 'Safe' posts might reach one million...or...perhaps it has?

I will use the iqdb image searcher so I can confirm whether a picture is tagged as safe, if not I will report it ASAP

Well this is another point: the rating may be inaccurate in other locations too... For instance: our 'Danbot.' Danbot and Gelbot upload pictures to Safebooru even if the users there didn't change the ratings on the posts. You have to use good judgement to rate it appropriately. .

According to Appleseed I can delete images now. So I guess I'll be doing that while I'm tagging.

Aw damn it! More tagme tags. I am getting dizzy but never to fear. I am final venting that tag little by little.

The tagme tag is actually a tag that helps you when upload new post here and for example you don't know a name of a certain anime character, in other words some other users ie. like me will edit the tags and add the ones that are truly necessary

I always do my best to tag pic's. I was a top uploader at another site till I just got tired of it. But I always tried my best to give the essential tags such as character, copyright, artist and, censored or uncensored. Proper tagging often leads people to anime's that they have not checked out yet.
