and in the end, it had been he that stood over the rest.

this was his moment! he had won, he should be happy, he should celebrate! the sun shone down, a heavenly beacon in a world made of grey...

he only allowed himself exactly three minutes to bend down and one knee and weep for his brethren. any more, and he would have had to redo his schedule for the day.
