A boy, and sometimes, a boi, Len I've chosen this translation to preserve a pun in the original Japanese. In both cases, the words are pronounced "otoko no ko". In the first case it just means "boy" (literally "male child"), but in the second case, the "ko" comes from the kanji for girl/maiden/daughter. The term is used to refer to a feminine boy, ergo, boi.
