I love Hatsune Miku. She is the world for me and even more.
But I have huge problems with sexual, suggestive and trashy content made with her voice and image.
I believe it's disrespectful, degenerative, threatening, etc...
The situation with its popularity, widespread and last year's trends gives me a ton of pain and anxiety.
And I need someone to help me get through this.

If there's anyone, even a single person, who share my opinion, I'll be happy to talk (Ideally in Discord).

Can't post reply for some reason...

Yeah, it obvious yet I can't stop feel huge betrayal from sources I take as canon for myself. Massive degradation of Deco*27 is just one of the examples.
And with focusing on the negative I brought himself to being unable to trust literally anything

I'm glad, least to say, to see anyone like you in the wild.
But you, probably, underestimate how much it affects my life.
I must say that I was able to move on when I was stumbling upon some trash until I discovered how much there are such songs among Project Diva songs (I loved, cared for and memorized lyrics) with my own tool for batch tagging from vocadb that would warn me for some of the tags.
I'm lucky to enjoy coding and don't know what would I've do without such tools or a GB userscript to handle my 13kb blacklist with high reliability and stuff

I think it is important to remember that Vocaloid and other types of voice synth programs (like Utaloid) are pretty much blank slates. They are ultimately instruments at the end of the day and different composers and artists are going to create wildly different types of the same character. For that reason I recommend finding and sticking with composers that make the types of Miku that you like best and ignore what anyone else is doing.

Unfortunately you can't stop people from being horny and making horny content with her, but it's worth knowing that there is so much more to Miku than all the degenerative stuff and there is always someone making wonderful and beautiful songs with her voice bank. The more recent Project Voltage is a good example of all this.

Miku Fan, and I agree
I agree with your sentiment that making a voice synthesizer sexual was quite wrong. Heck, there are lots of them sexualising especially Miku, I'm a fan too of her as a character.

Just remember that Rule 34 was applicable to everybody, including those wasn't really and morally wrong to be lewded. It was sad that Vocaloid and Synthesizer characters are now not exempt on Rule 34.

I'm a Miku fan, especially that particular artwork with her and Soap MacTavish.

One piece of advice: if you're in Gelbooru or any site that applies NSFW, just ignore Miku Rule 34, just as I had done for many years. Endure it, my fellow Miku appreciator.
