Why why is it saying that mermaids are monster girls sure there half woman half fish but there sweet and kind I don't find them as monsters I find mermaids sweet,loving, and beautiful creatures

Charlotte, monster_girl is a catch-all term for girls with monster/weird animal parts or monsters that have been anthropomorphized into cute girls.
