This is the gem from the now defunct GM manufacturer Pontiac, the Pontiac Solstice GXP(production from 2005-2009 with the closing of the manufacturing plant and Pontiac). The car is the first to contain an American made Gasoline Direct Injection (GDI) engine and Pontiac claims the car can go 0-60mph in under 5.5 seconds. Interestingly enough, the new DeLorean Motor Company that refurbishes and repairs old DMC-12s (the time machine from Back to the Future) is looking into continuing the production of the Solstice under a new design, but similar specs and probably the same platform (GM Kappa).
