Wow, I ever expected to find this one... this is a three-wheeled (tricar... duh) bubble car manufactured by the German aircraft manufacturer Messerschmitt AG. It is called the Messerschmitt KR200, in production from 1956-1964. This one is most likely the KR201 roadster (basically the same, but with a convertible cloth top instead of the actual bubble top), which started production around 1957. It's a rather interesting vehicle...

I was unable to find a KR201 picture I liked that looked close enough to the car illustrated above, thus I opted to instead just post a KR200. Just imagine it without the bubble top, or search your favorite image search engine for other pictures I guess.
