"Well, this is my place." Weiss said."Alright then." Ruby replied.Weiss nodded, but noticed was was looking at her expectantly. "What is it?" She asked."Do I get a reward for escorting the princess home?" Ruby asked, beaming."Ruby..." Weiss said, exasperatedly."What? I'm not asking for much, just a little something for good luck. It is a long way back to the academy after all."Weiss sighed. Alright, what do you want?""I think you know." Ruby said with a wink. She then closed her eyes, puckered her lips, and leaned her head towards Weiss.Weiss blushed at the sight of the expectant redhead. 'Too cute.' She thought. She shook her head and collected herself. She leaned towards Ruby and kissed her on the cheek.Ruby opened her eyes in surprise. "good night Ruby." Weiss whispered.Ruby's entire face was now as red as her cloak. "G-good night." She said, clearly shaken.Weiss turned around and headed towards the mansion the mansion. As she entered, she gave Ruby one last glance before closing the door behind her.After Weiss was inside, Ruby put a hand over the cheek Weiss had kissed and started walking back to the academy.Weiss sighed again and cursed to herself. "I'm an idiot."Ruby kept her hand on her cheek the whole way back to the academy, her face red as a rose the whole way.
