The vehicle above is a Toyota Quick Delivery 200 (in production since 1982), and according to what I can understand from the Japanese Wikipedia via Google Translate, is a second generation (which puts this model's production years 1986-1999).
The pun comes from Yamato Transport Company, Limited, a company that runs delivery services (luggage among other things that I couldn't really understand... it has a built in freezer...) in cars modeled like the one above. They nicknamed this service Kuroneko Yamato. www.kuronekoyamato.co.jp/
