You know. No matter how I look at this image, I cannot help thinking that this image is "not cool" at the very least and just downright offensive at the worst. For crying out loud, it is Konata, who is an otaku, not a political, anti-Semitic nut job.

The logic is destroying the weight of symbols and making a joke out of Nazism by doing things like this with "Nazi chic", Nazism isn't threatening if anyone and anything can be "Nazi". And that's the point, it's taking the edge off of something.

It's not condoning antisemitism, it's simply making a joke out of Nazism and having fun with it. It's time we moved on from giving Nazism this esoteric, scary scorn, and treat it in a more light hearted fashion. Like we do with all bad empires and things in history.

You see a grave holocaust. I see a party that doesn't stop at Poland!
