Snorlax is a Normal-type and Pikachu is too popular. They should have been switched out in favor of another Fire-type and Grass-type to make Red's team even more unstoppable.

Scrap Lapras, combine the Kanto starters with the Sinnoh starters and you got a pretty solid team.
