Let me clarify this one a little. The above car clearly resembles the BMW Z4, and this assumption is correct. But, this is actually an Alpina Roadster S. What's the difference? It's manufactured by a different manufacturer, Alpina Burkard Bovensiepen GmbH, or simply, Alpina. Alpina and BMW actually work quite closely in that all of Alpina's models are based on BMW cars (and have been since 1965); the cars are actually processed in the same assembly line as BMWs. This model is actually now considered a historic model, though a rather recent one being in production from 2003-2005 and based on the BMW Z4.
