Took me awhile to find this one despite it being a very popular model ^_^' .

Well, its a Mercedes-Benz 300SL part of the SL series produced first as a racing only model from 1952-1953 and then finally released to the public for a market specifically aimed at Americans in 1954 and stayed in production until 1963. It set many engineering innovations at the time of its production and has been nicknamed "gullwing" after the design of the its distinctly shaped open doors.
