Actually, they use HK416s. Even then, they don't shoot it underwater. 5.56mm NATO isn't exactly the best underwater round, contrary to what ArmA III will tell you with the SDAR. I'd prefer it if the devs made it chambered for a longer round more like that one used by the APS.

@mofumofunya i know that I'm not that silly, however you can still shoot underwater (with the exception of shotguns) but bear in mind that the bullet doesn't travel much further due the water is more dense than the air
