(writer's block ;-; )

It's easy to get used to a comfortable home life. The ability to feel safe, protected, as if the troubles of the world could be stopped by four walls and a roof. Comfort for both the body and the soul, respite and solace.

Getting accustomed to the lack of is a tad more difficult, to say the very least.

Perhaps that's why she had trouble finding people to take her seriously. Embellishing her plans with unnecessary grandeur was no help, either.

Behind every exaggeration and boast, though, there lies a seed of truth.

"I'm gonna get out of there one day", she mutters, crushing a piece of paper in her fist and pretending it's her doubts.

It's hard to leave your home.

It's easy when it doesn't seem like a home anymore.

Sounds a little like me, as I can't leave my home because it always feels like home to me...
